This webinar series is designed to look at Web 2.0 tools in-depth. Each webinar will focus on one tool or group of related tools. The tools will each be examined, first for their functionality, and then examples in education will be shared. Then as we become familiar with what the tool’s functionalities are, we will explore hands-on with the tool – making something, building something, creating something. Gail will answer questions and offer support during this activity. Finally each session will include a revisit with the application and powerful uses of the tools in the participants’ learning environment. There will be time for sharing ideas for implementation of the tool and ideas for products and projects using the tools. An effort to move from recognizing the tool to applying the tool in an educational setting. Move from the basement of Bloom’s taxonomy (remembering) to the pinnacle of Bloom’s Taxonomy (creating), all in only an hour! Practical, useful, engaging and fun!
